P&O CRUISES CASE STUDY

We help P&O Cruises evolve, develop and expand on their scalable design system to create more engaging and effective user experiences.

DEFINING THE SYSTEM

Using an Atomic design approach, I created a compilation of atoms, molecules and organisms that would create a full-connected and easy to update design system.

BRAND COLOUR USE

The use of colour was inconsistent across the P&O Cruises site so I created a more consistent use of their brand colours, along with establishing rollover and click state variants of their brand palette.

SPECIFIC COLOUR USE

We then established specific uses for each of the colours along with the expanded grey colour range.

ADDING DEPTH

APPLYING VARIANTS

Each component was set up with variants, whether that be rollover state, colour, size, structure or scroll state. This allowed us to make large-scale changes in the quickest and most efficient way.
