Hugh Rice

A luxury, family run jewellers founded in 1971 and based in the North of England with approx. 16 stores and their online retail.

We built and now continue to manage and optimise their digital store front on Magento. Along with this site, we also developed Luxe by Hugh Rice for their business.

Hugh Rice also required a Google Analytics and GTM audit in order to optimise their digital performance. Our CRO team lead their project with an initial audit, resulting recommendations based on the findings of the audit, and then guided the implementation of the findings.
Their initial audit found that 33% of their site needed fixing and 17% needed improvement. For example, their enhanced eCommerce setup was missing promotional tracking across their website, and their event and goal tracking was underdeveloped.
There were also a number of easy-fix, high impact improvements that were identified and implemented. One example of this was around their site accessibility – everything from font sizes, CTA colours, site contrasts and even clickable breadcrumbs.
