Eclipse Group Solutions have a flexible approach to application development,
following a number of development methodologies from agile through to highly structured.
This diversity allows us to be highly adaptable to the individual needs and processes of our clients.
The Rapid Application Development (RAD) framework facilitates significant reductions in lead times for
clients with smaller scale application development requirements. Conversely, the Waterfall framework
offers a rigid approach that works well for clients who require fixed-price, risk-averse projects.
The majority of our application development projects follow the Unified Process, which works well with
larger projects, but maintains elements of the flexibility and adaptability that the agile approach
provides.
All of the above methodologies are technology-agnostic and therefore provide a consistent platform for
all our application development activities. Furthermore, they are backed up with rigorous quality assurance
and internal auditing to ensure that all project deliverables are fit for purpose and if possible, exceed
the clients expectations. In order to ensure that any project is delivered within the agreed timescales and cost,
all of the above methodologies integrate very well with the Prince2 project management framework and delivery practices.
