Eclipse was founded in 1996; since then we have grown to over 200 IT professionals and are thus able to offer a very broad range of skills.  Based in Leicestershire we serve most areas of the UK.

Quality



We adhere to most commonly accepted standards and methodologies such as ISO9001, PRINCE II, ASL and ITIL.  This means we can deliver reliably and work comfortably within most existing IT environments.  We have a mature staff experienced in most common environments such as IBM’s WebSphere, and systems supported by our partners HP and Microsoft.  We also offer skills in some obsolescent languages so are able to update and link to almost any existing system.

Today greenfield sites are increasingly rare to the point of being almost non-existent; so our approach is first to understand not only our clients’ business objectives but also their existing IT infrastructure.  Then we offer the breadth of service appropriate to each client’s needs.  These include:

  • Design: we have a strong record of spotting opportunities for innovation starting from our clients’ fundamental business requirements.

  • Develop: we then build the solution, either from the specification we have designed, or from a more defined requirement presented by our  client.

  • Service: once we have built and tested our project we can, either hand this over as a working solution, or operate the solution via distributed datacentres and manage the operation from our resilient, distributed service desk.

Just as we update and improve our clients’ existing systems, we keep our eye on new developments and offer the benefits to our clients.  Be it the year of the tablet or the year of the cloud we are always looking to innovate.  For example, one of our recent projects introduced secure authorisation from managers’ smart phones – which meant our client could service their clients 25 times faster than before.
